The Settlers II: Veni, Vidi, Vici (1996, Blue Byte Software) Soundtrack recorded on a Roland Sound Canvas 88 (SC-88) 0:00 Track 1 3:51 Track 2 7:09 Track 3 11:08 Track 4 14:25 Track 5 17:51 Track 6 22:05 Track 7 26:10 Track 8 30:11 Track 9 34:23 Track 10 38:41 Track 11 43:02 Track 12 47:02 Track 13 50:42 Track 14 I have played the crap out of this game. From the first early demo versions (that used to crash a lot) to the full version, the extra mission CD and the Gold version. The first Settler game was kind of wonky at times and certain things were hard to control well, but a lot of that has improved in Settlers II. There are still some issues with controlling your soldiers and the way ships work, but all in all it's a really fun game. Most of the issues have been adressed in the great 10th anniversary edition of this game, so be sure to check that one out! I've heard the main theme so often that it is lodged in my brain forever. Interestingly, the game comes with 14 background tracks, although you have to manually select them or else the one currently playing will loop forever. That's probably why I'm less familiar with those other 13. The music sounds great on the SC-88 and pretty much identical to the music on the CD audio. I guess it's a recording of the SC-88.
