In this video, we solve the final chip of Project 5 in the nand2tetris course - the Computer chip, which brings together every chip built so far into a complete, working Von Neumann machine. We derive the theory behind wiring the CPU, Memory (RAM16K + Screen + Keyboard), and ROM32K into a single feedback loop — instructions fetched from ROM, decoded and executed by the CPU, with the CPU's outputs read from and written back to Memory — and then implement the full Computer chip using the Hardware Description Language (HDL). This is part of my nand2tetris Solutions playlist, where I'm solving every nand2tetris project step by step to understand how a computer is built from the ground up, from a single NAND gate to a complete operating system. 🔗 Original Nand2Tetris Project: https://www.nand2tetris.org/course 🔗 Nand2Tetris Online IDE: https://nand2tetris.github.io/web-ide 🔗 My GitHub repo: https://github.com/amithkumars-ds/sil...
