9'6" Bamboo Rod from Zhus Rod China - Manigotogan River Manitoba Canada

On a whim, I ordered a Hardy special taper made by Zhusrod in China it is a 9 foot 6 inch bamboo rod. The reel I put on didn't balance well, so I did the old, new to me, trick of wrapping the Arbor with lead core line before adding in a little bit of backing and then ultimately the fly line. I haven't tried it yet with the new balance but you can see from the video, it fishes fine! When I have a bit of room, this thing is a cannon!! http;//flyfishingmanitoba.com   / flyfishingmanitoba   Guided fly rod trips out of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada
