KEEP MY HEART CLOSE TO YOU | Catholic Evening Prayer | October 13, 2026 End your Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with this peaceful Catholic Evening Prayer from Sacred Echoes of Grace, inspired by Psalm 137, Psalm 138, Revelation 4–5, and Colossians 3:16. Tonight's Vespers reminds us that even when our hearts feel weary or distant from peace, God's faithful presence sustains us. Psalm 137 expresses the longing of God's people for their spiritual home, while Psalm 138 proclaims the Lord's mercy and His care for the humble. The Canticle from Revelation turns our hearts toward Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain and who is worthy of all glory and honour. Through Colossians 3:16, we are invited to let the message of Christ dwell richly within us. As this day comes to a close, we surrender our worries, disappointments, unfinished responsibilities, and personal struggles to the Lord, trusting that we do not have to carry every burden alone. As we remember Saint Theophilus of Antioch and continue our October devotion to the Most Holy Rosary, may we grow in faith and remain close to Jesus through every season of life. 🙏 We pray for our families, the Church, those experiencing sorrow or hardship, the faithful departed, and every personal intention entrusted to our prayer community.
