THIS CHANT FEELS LIKE YOU'RE THERE AT FATIMA | Gregorian Chants of Fatima Close your eyes and pray like a child with these Gregorian chants dedicated to Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta Marto, the little shepherds of Fatima, and to their cousin Lucia. Nine original Latin chants, sung slowly by male and female monastic voices in alternation, unaccompanied, echoing softly through a small candlelit chapel. The melodies are simple and gentle, like the first prayers a mother teaches her children at the end of the day: no hurry, only light, trust and peace. In 1917, in the hills of Fatima, Our Lady appeared to three poor children who were watching their sheep near a small holm oak in the Cova da Iria. They could not read, but they prayed the Rosary with all their hearts. Francisco, a quiet boy, wanted above all to console Jesus, hidden in the tabernacle. Little Jacinta offered her small sacrifices for sinners and for the Holy Father. Both accepted their illness with love and went home to God very young, Francisco in 1919 and Jacinta in 1920. Pope Francis canonized them at Fatima on May 13, 2017, one hundred years after the first apparition. The saints do not replace God: they pray for us, and every grace comes from Him. Let these chants accompany your family Rosary, the evening prayer with your children, a quiet hour before the Blessed Sacrament, or your rest at night. Bring to the little shepherds of Fatima what you carry today: Bring your children and grandchildren. Bring the child who is sick. Bring the family that has stopped praying together. Bring those who are far from God. Bring your own heart, and make it little again. Perfect for: Family prayer and praying with children Praying the Holy Rosary Prayer and meditation Sleep and relaxation Calming anxiety and stress Catholic reflection and worship May Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta pray for your home, and may the Lord give you the simple heart of a child and His peace tonight. FINAL PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You said: let the little children come to me. Thank You for Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta, the little shepherds of Fatima, who loved You with simple hearts. Saint Francisco, Saint Jacinta, pray for us, for our homes and for our children. Teach us to pray the Rosary without hurry, to keep Jesus company in silence, and to offer our little daily crosses with love. Heavenly Father, give us the trust of children and a pure heart. Amen.
