Hike to Annette Lake, Cascade Mountains, Washington | Forest and Alpine lake

This is a lovely hike through the forest to an alpine lake. The day I went was a bit rainy and cool, with a great atmosphere in the forest and at the lake. Be prepared for stairs- there are quite a few sets of wooden stairs built into the trail, which is actually quite nice, and I'm sure helps prevent trail erosion. The trailhead is easily accessed off Interstate 90, about an hour east of Seattle, exit 47.
