🌀 SUPER ATARRICAN VBXE: RELEASE CANDIDATE—THE MEGA PORT NEARS COMPLETION! 🕹️💪

Mariusz "MaRbEd" Bednarz confirms Super Atarrican VBXE—his Super Turrican adaptation for VBXE-equipped Atari XL/XE—has reached Release Candidate status! 🎉 The biggest battle? Fitting the game in a 1MB cartridge! Bednarz built a compression system that squeezes everything down to 860KB—compare that to the NES Turrican ROM's 256KB, and you understand the architectural divide between platforms! More goodies coming: additional music tracks by Michael "Miker" Szpilowski (currently one per world), plus a secret password unlocking TRAINER MODE with world selection from the Options menu! 🎵
