Bloodborne | First Playthrough | Episode 9: The Final Nightmare

Our journey through the Nightmare of Mensis continues—and somehow takes us somewhere even stranger. We begin by descending beneath the nightmare for a face-to-face encounter with the Brain of Mensis. After an unusually long session of “Making Contact,” we claim the Moon rune and discover what happens when you attack a giant, helpless brain. Then begins the real battle of the episode: attempt after attempt against Mergo’s Wet Nurse. Between the darkness, the clones, and those relentless blades, this fight becomes a serious test—but the nightmare is eventually slain. With Mergo defeated, we attempt to head into the DLC, discover that the emulator refuses to cooperate and instead head beneath Yharnam into the Pthumerian Labyrinth. The expedition takes us through the Merciless Watchers and culminates in a fiery confrontation with the Watchdog of the Old Lords.
