'I Was Raised To Be Good' - Sadie St Claire (Official Music Video)

The rules were written before she ever learned her own name. "I Was Raised to be Good", A dark gothic anthem about the expectations placed on us before we are old enough to question them. Raised to be obedient. Taught to stay quiet. Told that being good meant becoming someone else. But eventually every person has to ask: "Who was I before they told me who I had to be?" Blending haunting female vocals, acoustic guitar, mournful fiddle, church-inspired textures, and dark Americana storytelling, Sadie begins her journey through the rules she inherited and the freedom she fought to reclaim. This is not a song about rejecting where she came from. It's about discovering who she was always meant to become.
