Your daily chicken routine, start to finish: what to do first in the morning, what to check, when to collect eggs, and why closing the coop is always the last step at night. A healthy flock runs on a simple routine. In the morning: feed and water first, then open the coop, watch how your flock moves, do a quick headcount, and collect eggs. In the evening: collect any eggs you missed, put feed away so it doesn't draw pests, and close the coop last, once everyone's inside. About 10 to 15 minutes each, and for most Keepers it becomes the favorite part of the day. This is Step 1 of 5 in The Daily Care Journey from Flock Journey, by Hoover's Hatchery.
