Every Tuesday, from 7:00-8:00 Eastern, we explore authoring capabilities executed fully within "data analysis" platforms as we live code during an open Q&A session. This week we'll demonstrate how to personalize your own Reveal JS presentation theme to fit your work, school, or personal style. No prior experience with R is needed for these weekly sessions - just curiosity and and open mind. Come ask questions about your own projects or just learn about possibilities! --- The weekly sessions are titled, "R for Authoring" (or, sometimes, "R is for Authoring"), although we're not technically (mostly) authoring with "R", but rather plain text supported by markdown and/or LaTeX within processors purportedly intended to process (primarily) quantitative data, but that's okay because... "Another noteworthy characteristic of this...(sic) ...is that it doesn't always tell the truth... ...the author feels that this technique of deliberate lying will actually make it easier for you to learn the ideas" (Knuth, pp. vi-vii) This week's slides: https://jtkulas.github.io/LiveStreams...
