What would you give to be here right now? It’s the low, rainy season, yet the weather is absolutely fantastic at the moment. Koh Kradan Island is almost completely empty, with none of the loud hordes of cheap Western backpackers that descend on the place during the high season. And, to top it all off, I’m sitting on a beach that was voted by The World Beach Guide in 2023 as the **best beach in the world**. Honestly, could there be a better time to be here? Koh Kradan is a stunning tropical island located in Trang Province. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and excellent snorkeling, it’s part of Hat Chao Mai National Park. It is considered one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands—yet it remains relatively peaceful and less developed. The World Beach Guide website has ranked the best beaches in the world in 2023 (Top 100 beaches on Earth 2023), and sitting proudly in first place is Koh Kradan.
