Raised and Seated With Him | Ephesians 2:6 | Daily Christian Devotional ‪@JBFellow‬

In Christ, you have not only been made alive — you have been raised and seated with Him in heavenly places. Ephesians 2:6 reveals something profound about the believer’s new position in Christ: “…and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” — Ephesians 2:6 In today’s devotional, “Raised and Seated With Him,” Matthew (Tolu) Olowoyeye reflects on what it means to share in the life, victory and position of Jesus Christ. The gospel does not simply rescue us from where we were. It brings us into a new identity. Through Christ: • You have been made alive. • You have been raised with Him. • You are united with Christ. • Your identity is no longer rooted in your old life. • You belong to a new kingdom. • Your perspective can now be shaped by where Christ has placed you. Ephesians 2 does not describe salvation merely as escape from sin. It describes union with Christ. You were dead — but God made you alive. You were separated — but God brought you near. You were powerless to save yourself — but grace changed your position. And now Scripture declares that God has raised us up together and seated us together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This is not a reason for pride. It is a reason for confidence in Christ. Your position is not based on personal achievement, spiritual status or human recognition. It is entirely in Christ Jesus. Today, live from the reality of what God has already accomplished through Christ. You have been raised and seated with Him. Read the full devotional: https://thebereanblog.com/devotional/...
