[IPHONE DUO VS GALAXY FOLD8] When I moved into Samsung’s Galaxy Fold8, I got the sensation that there was a ticking clock on how seriously I’d be able to take it. After all, we already knew at that point that Apple would be using the same display, in the same aspect ratio, inside a similar enclosure for its iPhone Duo. And after 7 years of laying back in the cut watching the competition, my expectation was that Apple would dominate so hard with the Duo that the Fold8 would soon seem an embarrassing also-ran. Well I’ve carried both of ‘em in my pockets for the past three weeks – from Brooklyn to Waterloo to Florida – to answer the question everyone’s been asking me all season: MrMobile, now that the iPhone folds … are you gonna switch to it? [ABOUT MRMOBILE'S IPHONE DUO VS GALAXY FOLD8 COMPARISON] MrMobile's iPhone Duo vs Galaxy Fold8 comparison was produced after three months with a Galaxy Fold8 purchased by MrMobile and an iPhone Duo review sample provided by Apple. MrMobile does not offer manufacturers the opportunity to preview, edit or approve content before publication. Neither Apple nor any other manufacturer provided compensation in exchange for this coverage.
