في بستانٍ أخضرَ جميل، تعيش نملةٌ صغيرةٌ نشيطة اسمُها سِمسِمة، تحمل حبّةَ القمح وتعدُّ خطواتها: واحدة، اثنتان، ثلاث! 🐜 وفي يومٍ حارّ هبّت نسمةٌ خفيفة، فحملتها على ورقةٍ خضراء فوق الماء... فأسقطت الحمامةُ وردة غصنًا صغيرًا، فصار جسرًا! 🕊️ وبعد أيّام علقت رِجلُ وردة بخيطٍ أحمرَ ناعم، فنادت سِمسِمة صديقاتها، وعددنا النملات إلى عشر، وشددن الخيط معًا: واحدة، اثنتان، ثلاث! فطارت وردة من جديد. حكاية هادئة ولطيفة للأطفال من عمر ثلاث إلى ست سنوات، بالعربية الفصحى السهلة، مقتبسة بلطف من حكاية إيسوب. فيها العدّ من واحد إلى عشرة، والمساعدة والصداقة والمشاركة، ولا خوف فيها، ولا يتأذّى أحد، وتنتهي بالنوم الدافئ. The Ant and the Dove, a gentle story for children aged 3 to 6 in easy Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha). Simsima is a small, very busy ant who carries her wheat grain home every morning, counting her steps. One hot day a light breeze floats her off on a leaf across the stream (she is safe, just far from the bank), and Warda the dove drops a little twig to make a bridge. Days later, while building her nest, Warda's foot gets tangled in a soft red thread. Simsima calls her friends, we count all ten ants together, and they pull as a team until the thread comes loose. Then they carry the thread up to Warda's nest and share a crumb and a seed. Adapted gently from Aesop, with a counting refrain to join in and a lesson about helping: whoever helps others will find someone to help them.
