An original dark outlaw country highway ballad. Eli Thornwood drives past every exit that ever mattered — Midland, Tulsa, Memphis, San Angelo. He doesn't stop. But the ghosts in the passenger seat don't need an invitation.
🎸 Songs from the wrong side of the highway.

There's a theory that highways remember. That the asphalt absorbs the heat of every tire that ever crossed it, and at night, when the road cools, it breathes those memories back out. Eli doesn't believe in theories. But he believes in what he sees — or thinks he sees — in the passenger seat at 2 AM on an empty stretch of interstate.
Exit 214, Midland. The woman in the red dress who stayed three weeks and left on a Tuesday. Exit 88, Tulsa. The crying woman in the second row. Exit 47, Memphis. The holding cell and the preacher on the radio. Exit 12, San Angelo. Marlene's porch light, visible from the highway. He could take the exit. He never does.
Every interstate has ghosts. Most people drive too fast to notice. Eli drives slow enough to name them.
