If you want to read the Bible more consistently or how to read the bible but life keeps getting in the way, read the Bible with me and build a daily Bible reading habit through Scripture, prayer, reflection, Proverbs, Psalms, and peaceful Bible reading.
This is an unscripted Bible study with me series for anyone who wants to make more time for God but finds that work, family, responsibilities, stress, and everyday life keep taking over.
My goal is simple: to read through the Bible consistently, one day at a time, while building a community of people who want to do the same.
📖 Day 14 — TODAY WE’RE READING:
Luke 14
Psalm 14
Proverbs 14
Today’s reading made me reflect on humility, excuses, priorities, letting go, and what it really means to put Jesus first.
Luke 14 reminded me not to think too highly of myself, to remain humble regardless of what I have or accomplish, and to help people without expecting something in return.
The parable of the great supper especially stood out to me because everyone who was invited had an excuse. It made me think about the excuses we can make for not reading the Bible, praying, going to church, serving others, or simply making time for God.
Jesus also speaks very directly about the cost of discipleship. Following Him means being willing to let go of anything that becomes more important than Him and being willing to carry our cross.
Psalm 14 reminded me that we live in a world where foolishness, corruption, and injustice exist. As believers, we do not have to argue with everything we see. Sometimes our role is to recognize it, protect our peace, pray, and remain spiritually on guard.
Proverbs 14 reminded me to slow down, think carefully, control anger, test what I hear, work hard instead of merely talking about what I want to do, and be careful not to destroy with my own hands what God has allowed me to build.
I’m simply opening the Bible each day, reading the Scriptures first, then reflecting on what stood out to me and ending in prayer.
If you are looking for a Bible study for beginners, Bible narration, Christian meditation, or simply a peaceful Bible reading routine that helps you spend more time with God, you are welcome here.
Bring your own Bible and read along, or listen while you clean, commute, get ready, journal, relax, or take some quiet time with God.
This is about consistency, not perfection.
Read with me.
Reflect with me.
Pray with me.
Subscribe and join me for Day 15 as we continue building the habit of reading the Bible together.
