Andrew Barclay Works No 2138 'Swordfish' at the CVR

Some of my Subscribers may have noticed that I was only at the Colne Valley Railway at Castle Hedingham 3 weeks ago, but the Youtuber 'BOBP Railway Videos' suggested I visit on the 29th to see the HST in action! Unfortunatley, work interfered with that plan, but I opted to go on the steam day instead. An adult ticket was a reasonable £14 on this day and the train was running all day, 10am until 5pm. This locomotive was certainly characterful, with some unique design features such as a regulator that operates via a downwards motion, and a steam brake lever in the centre of the cabin, operated by pushing away from the driver's position.
