Psalms 1–27 | The Septuagint | Peaceful Scripture Reading

Enjoy a peaceful reading of Psalms 1–27 from the Septuagint, accompanied by gentle ambient music and the warm glow of a candlelit church. This reading follows Sir Lancelot C. L. Brenton's historic 1851 English translation of the Septuagint, preserving the traditional language and numbering of the ancient Greek Psalter. Whether you are spending time in prayer, seeking a moment of quiet reflection, relaxing after a long day, or preparing for sleep, we hope these ancient words of Scripture bring you peace and comfort.
