*Last Week* AL DW539 on Bus Route 123

In this video, I ride Bus Route 123 between Woodford, Charlie Browns Roundabout and Wood Green Station. The 123 operates between Ilford, Hainault Street and Wood Green Station. The route is run by Arriva London from their Tottenham (AR) bus garage. It has a PVR of 20 buses; buses of which tend to be either Gemini 2 DWs or Gemini 3s. There are a couple of Mark 1 Gemini 3s at Tottenham, with most of them being frogfaces. All of these buses will leave AR once the route passes to GAL and the 41 no longer needs any of them. Just a heads-up about the route going to GAL! This change is happening at the end of the month, on February 28th. By the time this video goes up, the route will be in its last few days with Arriva. I'm actually not dreading the route passing to Go Ahead to be honest. If anything, I'm ready to welcome the change with open arms as it seems the allocation Go Ahead are giving it is going to be very reminiscent of its current one, anyway. But I will still miss the route with Arriva, anyway. not sure if that makes sense. In this video, I ride DW539, one of three 500 series DWs at AR. These DWs are an improvement over their predecessors as they have better interior lighting and move away from the manual blindset style of their elders. This bus was producing some sort of whistling sound, which was present throughout my journey on it but I'm not too sure of its cause. It was quite a fast run if I do say so myself, which after a long day, I needed to be honest. This route does make for a fun ride, especially at night, which is when I tend to take it. I mean, most of my videos on it are headed towards Wood Green at around the exact same time, and I hardly encounter issues or delays during my journeys.
