Camping in a RAIN STORM and HIGH WINDS. Testing out my new 4 season tent in HEAVY RAIN, the FJALLRAVEN ABISKO LITE 1. Wild camping Scotland. Headed out for a group camp with the usual suspects into the Galloway forest park. Met up with the Scottish Wanderer first for a hike up the hills to Straiton Monument, then out to the next location to meet up with the rest of the crew. Arrived at the riverside location soaking wet, set up the tent and then luckily Johnny had brought the Pomoly Hex Plus hot tent and woodburning stove. The 5 of us piled in and dried of all our gear while the rain battered the tents, sat down and enjoyed a curry and a few laughs.
