Children Missing School to Earn a Living | Roshan Ji & Muzawar Ji’s Families | HSF

Today, the Hindu Samman Foundation (HSF) team is in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, meeting two Pakistani Hindu families — Roshan Ji's and Muzawar Ji's — who have requested our support to build a more stable future. Both families currently depend on seasonal cotton farming to earn their livelihood. However, their work requires them to move frequently, forcing their children to miss school for months at a time. 💔 10 CHILDREN, TWO FAMILIES & AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE Roshan Ji has five daughters and one son, while Muzawar Ji has three daughters and one son. These parents want their children to receive a proper education, but frequent migration for seasonal employment makes regular schooling extremely difficult. How can children build a better future when their education keeps getting interrupted? 🛵 FROM SEASONAL LABOUR TO SELF-EMPLOYMENT Both families have requested HSF's assistance in obtaining motorcycle trolley vehicles to start their own scrap collection and recycling businesses. Their goal is simple: earn a stable income, reduce the need to migrate for work, and ensure their children can attend school regularly. 🏠 THE STRUGGLE FOR PERMANENT HOUSING According to the families, they have also faced eviction from settlements on government land, leaving them without long-term housing security.
