Heat it on low flame for 2–3 min until the sugar completely dissolves. • Add ghee and mix well. Turn off the flame and keep the mixture aside for some time. • Once the mixture becomes lukewarm, transfer it to a large parat or mixing bowl. • Add cardamom powder and mix well. Gradually add the maida and knead the dough. • We need a tight dough. Do not use excess water or milk while kneading the dough. • Once the dough is ready, divide it into equal portions for rolling. • Take one portion and roll it into a roti about 1 cm thick. Cut it into pieces as shown in the video. • Once all the Shankarpali pieces are cut, start frying them. • Heat oil in a kadai for frying the Shankarpali. Once the oil is medium hot, fry the Shankarpali on low to medium flame. • Once they turn nicely golden and crispy, remove them from the oil and fry the remaining Shankarpali. • Once the Shankarpali cools completely to room temperature, store them in an airtight container. They stay good for about 1 month. #saritaskitchen #सरिताकिचन #breakfastrecipes #easybreakfastrecipe For collaboration enquiries – saritaskitchen18@gmail.com
