Every story starts on a tiny everyday thing. Today it is a kite... lying flat on the floor, because there is not a puff of wind! Pip the pocket-fox, Luma the lantern moth, Bramble the moss turtle, Zee the sugar glider and Captain Nib the raccoon zoom inside a kite and land on a still green hill, where the windmill, the flags and every leaf are standing completely still. They meet Swoop, a kite with a ribbon tail who has waited all day for the wind. Captain Nib explains that wind is just moving air: we cannot see it, but we can see what it does. So the crew wakes the wind with their breath: first a soft breeze, then a stronger wind, then the biggest breath of all... WHOOSH! And Swoop soars.
