**PLEASE NOTE: Continuing education credits are no longer available ** CHOP’s Violence Prevention Initiative (VPI), now Center for Violence Prevention, and Lutheran Settlement House hosted a webinar entitled “The Parent is Your Patient Too!” Making the Case for Intimate Partner Violence Advocacy in the Pediatric Setting.” This two-hour session provides the most up-to-date research on the link between intimate partner violence (IPV) and pediatric health, lists barriers to providing IPV medical advocacy in the pediatric and medical setting, identifies strategies for successfully integrating IPV into most medical settings, and provides action steps for partnering with local pediatric care providers. This webinar is presented by Ashlee Murray, MD, an attending physician in the Emergency Department at CHOP, Marcella Nyachogo, LSW, assistant director of the Bilingual Domestic Violence Program at Lutheran Settlement House, and India Azzinaro, BSW, medical advocacy supervisor at Lutheran Settlement House and CHOP.
