“I’LL DUST THOSE GUYS!” Evan Wick CALLS OUT Colby Covington & UFC Stars

Evan Wick has issued a huge challenge to Colby Covington and the UFC’s crossover wrestlers, insisting elite freestyle wrestling is a completely different level. The No. 2-ranked RAF middleweight discusses his ambitions to regain the belt and settle his rivalry with Jason Nolf after splitting their first two meetings. Wick admits his last defeat was difficult to accept but believes he deserves an immediate trilogy fight, declaring that he’s ready whenever RAF makes the call. Wick also opens up on what went wrong in the Nolf rematch, the dangers of overtraining and the adjustments he’s making alongside coach Ben Askren. Despite the setback, Wick remains adamant that when his training and preparation are right, he is capable of being the best wrestler in the world. But things really heat up when the conversation turns to RAF’s crossover division. Wick names Colby Covington as an opponent he’d like to face and says UFC fighters entering the wrestling world are “out of their depth”, promising to show them what elite-level wrestling is really about. Asked whether MMA wrestling can compete with his level of freestyle wrestling, Wick doubles down, saying “not a chance” and claiming he would “dust” the crossover competition. He also names Covington and Luke Rockhold while arguing that some of RAF’s best crossover names would be relatively straightforward matchups for him. #EvanWick #ColbyCovington #JasonNolf #RAF #Wrestling
