Bolt holes through linked part files in Autodesk Fusion – Assembly Hole Series

Assembly Hole Series is an add-in for Autodesk Fusion. Pick the bolt centres and the joint once: every part in the stack gets the right hole for its side, at its standard size, even when the parts are separate linked files. In this video, an assembly with linked files two levels deep (Base Plate + Motor Module with Spacer and Mount Plate): Hole Series: M8 socket head screw, sunk head, tapped end. Counterbore in the top plate, clearance hole in the spacer, thread in the base plate. Each linked file gets its holes, is saved as a new version, and the links are updated for you. Edit Assembly Feature: change M8 tapped to M5 with a captive nut. Every file follows. Assembly Cut: one cutter body cuts a cable passage through all three plates. Move the Motor Module 50 mm, then Update All: holes and cut follow the new position. Export Bolt List: screws, nuts and lengths as a PDF, ready to order. Waiting parts are sped up 3×.
