Size 0-3 months (on video): Chest circumference: 21 inches / 53 cm. Sweater length: 10.25 inches / 26 cm. Sleeve length: 10.5 inches / 27 cm. GAUGE 19 stitches and 28 rows = 4 × 4 inches / 10 × 10 cm in textured pattern Needles: U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles. Worsted weight yarn: 140 g. Sample shown in Lion Brand Touch of Alpaca. Materials: Two 0.6 in / 1.5 cm buttons, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, measuring tape, 1 double-pointed needle. Special abbreviations and techniques: k – knit p – purl RS – Right Side WS – Wrong Side k2tog – knit two stitches together k3tog - knit three stitches together yo - yarn over **m1R (make one right) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from back to front, knit through the front loop (1 stitch increased) **m1L (make one left) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from front to back, knit through the back loop (1 stitch increased) ** I use them the other way around! Bind Off in Pattern – working each stitch as established (knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches). Work the first 2 stitches in pattern. Lift the first stitch over the second stitch and off the needle. Work the next stitch in pattern, then lift the previous stitch over the newly worked stitch and off the needle.
