Jesus' Strategy Through Miracles: Peter’s Call to Follow

Jesus’ miracles weren’t random displays of power. They were part of His strategy for developing disciples! In this episode: Ben Borgman and Craig Etheredge continue exploring the life and ministry of Jesus by looking at Peter’s calling in Luke 5 and the miraculous catch of fish. Why does this appear to be a second call after Matthew 4? What was Jesus revealing to Peter through the miracle? How did Jesus use ordinary circumstances, real responsibilities, and moments of hesitation to draw Peter into deeper commitment? The conversation also connects Peter’s first miraculous catch with his later restoration after the resurrection, revealing a pattern in the way Jesus personally pursued and developed His disciples.
