𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 2 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐭

EP Desk, PASIGHAT, September 20: The Gorkha Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad (GSSP), East Siang District, Pasighat, successfully conducted a three-day religious programme for the consecration and ceremonial installation of idols at the Gorkha Shiva Mandir-cum-Community Hall at Saw Mill, 2 Mile, near the RSS office in Pasighat. The programme was held from September 18 to 20, 2026, beginning with the Pran Pratishtha Kalash Yatra on September 18. The second day, September 19, featured Vedic Puja and Havan along with other religious rituals as part of the idol consecration ceremony. The programme concluded on September 20 with the Pran Pratishtha and ceremonial installation of the idols, followed by Aarti, special pujan and Prasad distribution. Devotees and members of the community participated in the religious ceremonies and sought blessings on the occasion. The newly established temple is expected to serve as a place of worship as well as a centre for preserving and promoting the cultural and religious traditions of the Gorkha community in the area. The programme was attended and supported by Shri Chandra Thapa, President, GSSP; Shri David Alley, General Secretary, GSSP; Shri Pritam Chettry, Puja Secretary; and Shri T.K. Mogor, President, AA PGWS, along with members of the community. The three-day ceremony concluded with prayers and Prasad distribution, marking the formal completion of the idol consecration and ceremonial installation at the temple.
