The plaintiff says he rented his house to the defendant under a lease that clearly stated no pets were allowed. But one day, he discovered she was keeping five cats and two dogs. Now, he claims the house reeks of cat urine and dog feces, and he has to replace all the carpeting. He is suing for damages. The defendant says she paid three security deposits and that the plaintiff knew she had pets. He even brought dog biscuits when collecting rent.
