EPISODE PLOT: Patsy is an unhappy schoolgirl living with her mother and her boyfriend in London but longs for her happier life in Margate and the kind old lady they had as a neighbour. One day she meets a travelling theatre group and spies a way of leaving her present circumstances and running away. SERIES PLOT:This family drama revolves around young girl Patsy, who runs away from home and joins a theatre troupe who are traveling by boat to Margate.
