Landscape Photography and Hiking to Sheep Lake, Washington along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT)

I spent a quiet morning hiking to Sheep Lake near Chinook Pass, photographing the landscape and exploring one of the beautiful alpine areas near Mount Rainier. In this micro adventure, I hike the Pacific Crest Trail to Sheep Lake, photograph the lake and surrounding mountains, and take in the views of Naches Peak and Yakima Peak along the way. Sheep Lake is a great short hike for anyone looking to experience the mountain scenery around Chinook Pass and the eastern side of Mount Rainier National Park.
