The 40-year-old is charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and intimidation of witness, attorney or victim in a criminal case in the death of his wife, Ashley. Flynn is a youth pastor and is known as being a contestant on season 12 of the reality show, "American Idol." In an early-morning call to 911 on February 16th, 2026, Flynn tell dispatchers that intruders entered his home and shot his wife. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
