Designing AI and Robots for Children - Dr Teresa Flanagan

How should AI and robots be designed for children? In this episode of Mindfully Engineered, I am joined by Dr Teresa Flanagan, a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago's Data Science Institute. Her research explores how children interact with technologies such as AI and robots. We talk about how children understand and build trust in technology, how robots can influence learning and behaviour and what engineers should consider when designing technology specifically for children.
