Ernest Hollis – Letterbox Trouble [Lost Sessions 1985 Album]Roots Reggae | Dub | Rastafari

Letterbox Trouble is a fictional 1985 roots-reggae album built around letters, parcels, mistaken deliveries and the small mysteries that can unfold on an ordinary neighborhood street. Ernest Hollis's imagined session rides deep rounded bass, steady one-drop drums, crisp guitar skank, bubbling organ and warm analog tape echo, giving everyday postal life an intimate roots-reggae atmosphere. The ten songs move between curiosity, honesty, neighborhood trust and the danger of jumping to conclusions. “This Isn’t Mine” turns a wrongly delivered item into a lesson about integrity, while “Neighbour’s Parcel” explores the simple act of protecting something entrusted to you. “Who Put It There?” and “Nobody Knows” bring rumor and uncertainty into the picture, while “The Morning Delivery” closes the fictional session with the quiet sense that ordinary correspondence can connect people in unexpected ways. This is a fictional vintage roots-reggae project, not a verified historical discovery. TRACK LIST 1. Red Envelope 2. Miss Dora 3. “This Isn’t Mine” 4. Tuesday Post 5. Who Put It There? 6.
