Every Ear Is a Surprise! Harvest Day at River Rock Farms NM🌽

Every ear of corn is a surprise! 🌽 Join us in the field at River Rock Farms NM as we peel back the husks on our organically grown ornamental corn and discover this year’s colors. This time, we uncover a beautiful ear of deep red corn with metallic orange-red tips, along with others showing pinks, nearly black kernels, white banding, and glassy colors. Some are so pretty it’s hard to choose which to keep for decoration and which to shell for next year’s planting! We’re also trying to stay ahead of the crows, who have been helping themselves to the crop. More on their handiwork in another video! Filmed September 12, 2026, on our farm in New Mexico. Subscribe to follow the growing season, from preparing the fields and planting to harvest days like this one. #RiverRockFarmsNM #OrganicCorn #CornHarvest #organicfarm #nmfarming #farminglife #farm
