I thought it was about time I did a mix for the channel… For this one, I wanted to pull out some of my favourite tracks from 1992–1993, but without reaching for the obvious anthems. No overplayed classics. No easy picks. Instead, I dug deep into the underground and selected some records that, for me, capture the sound, energy and atmosphere of that era. I didn’t rush the mixes either. I wanted to let the tunes breathe… let them roll out properly. Unlike a lot of today’s music, where everything happens in the first 90 seconds, these records were built differently. They take their time. They evolve. They tell a story. This mix is a journey… or at least, that’s how I intended it to be.
