Golden, smoky, and bursting with flavor—Paneer Tikka is a timeless favorite that's loved across India. Marinated in a rich blend of curd, roasted gram flour, aromatic spices, mustard oil, and fresh cream, every bite of this Restaurant Style Paneer Tikka is perfectly charred on the outside and soft on the inside. Served with grilled vegetables and a sprinkle of chaat masala, it's the ultimate vegetarian starter for every occasion. In this recipe, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi shares his signature method to recreate authentic tandoori-style Paneer Tikka at home with simple ingredients and bold flavors. Serve it hot, pair it with mint chutney, and enjoy every smoky bite! Paneer Tikka Ingredients • Paneer – 250 g, • Onion – 1no. • Capsicum – 1 no. • Tomato – 1no. • Oil – 2 tbsp • Carom seeds– ½ tsp • Gram flour – 2 tbsp • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp • Curd – 3 tbsp • Red chilli powder – 2 tsp • Garam masala – 1 tsp • Dry mango powder– 1 tsp • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp • Dry fenugreek leaves– 1 tsp • Raw mustard oil – 2 tbsp • Lemon juice – ½ tbsp • Fresh cream – 3 tbsp • Salt – to taste • Butter – 1 tbsp For Garnish: • Chaat masala Method 1. Heat oil in a pan and temper it with carom seeds. Then add gram flour, turmeric powder and roast until light golden in color. Transfer it to a bowl. 2. To the roasted gram flour add curd, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur, ginger-garlic paste, kasuri methi, mustard oil, lemon juice, fresh cream, and mix into a smooth marinade. 3. Add paneer cubes, onion petals, diced capsicum, and deseeded tomato pieces. Mix gently and add salt. Keep it aside for 20-30 minutes. 4. Thread paneer and vegetables alternately onto skewers. Grill in a preheated tandoor until lightly charred and golden. 5. Toss some chopped salad vegetables with a little leftover marinade and butter, sauté briefly, and place on a serving platter. 6.
