New BYD eBus BD11s have entered service on London bus route 31. BD11s are replacing ADL Enviro400 hybrids and Optare Metrodecker EVs, shown later. The 31 has become the 1st route to use First Bus London's BD11s. Over 50 BD11s will be used by First on routes 18 and 31. The 18 will start using BD11s next year, when the route transfers from Park Royal garage.

Route 31 runs between Camden Town, Bayham Street and White City. The route runs around every 9 to 13 minutes, from 05:00 until 01:15. The 31 is around 6 miles (10km) long, with a full journey taking 40 to 70 minutes. First Bus London operates the 31 from Westbourne Park (X) garage. 18 double deck buses are allocated to the route. The 31 serves Bayham Street, Camden Town Station, Camden Market, Chalk Farm Station, Primrose Hill Road, Swiss Cottage Station, South Hampstead Station, Abbey Road, Kilburn High Road Station, Kilburn High Road, Kilburn Park Station, Carlton Vale, Chippenham Road, Elgin Avenue, Harrow Road, Westbourne Park Station, Brunel Estate, Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill Gate Station, Holland Park Station, Royal Crescent, Shepherd's Bush Station and White City Bus Station.
