How Not To Do Criticism

Come with me on this journey where I explore a cynical, anti-intellectual video about Nintendo by a creator named JoeL. In his video, 'Nintendo is DEAD to Me," Joe shares his opinions and makes several arguments regarding the current state of Nintendo, their games, the Nintendo Switch 2, and the overall nature of gaming in 2026. Unfortunately, I don't believe this video is very good. This video is an semi-intellectual analysis of JoeL's arguments, rhetorical style, and broader tastes in media. It's my first video essay so pls be nice :) Joe's Original Video:    • Nintendo is DEAD to me.   BeardBear's Footage of Donkey Kong Bananza's Intro sequence:    • Donkey Kong Bananza - Full Intro   Background Footage of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond:    • Metroid Prime 4 Blind Playthrough   Main/Gaming Channel - ‪@GreatZina‬ Twitter - @Great_Zina Special Thanks to .@TuttyPatutty - Tumblr .@chikinsnek - Instagram / Twitter ‪@Spinny-yy6of‬Youtube
