Investigations revealed that funds meant for government projects were siphoned off into personal bank accounts and subsequently funneled into online trading activities. Key highlights of the investigation: Modus Operandi: Between 2022 and 2026, perpetrators forged fake sanction orders and bills under the guise of retired employees' gratuity, unutilized leave salary, and contingency funds. System Exploitation: The forged bills were processed through the Integrated Financial Management System (iFMS) to transfer government funds directly to private accounts.
