We are the Ocean. The Ocean is us - EPLO CSDN Documentary

How does peacebuilding look when climate, gender and an intergenerational approach come together? Filmed in the Pacific, "We are the Ocean. The Ocean is us" follows the women mediators of the Pacific Women Mediators Network (PWMN) and the communities of Togoru and Nanuku, and what their experience can offer to peacebuilding everywhere. Produced in collaboration with PWMN, this 23-minute documentary covers the Pacific's long peacebuilding tradition: from local communities facing the drivers of climate stress to the international policy work of the network. It is built around the Ocean of Peace Declaration (2025), which calls for dedicated financing for women-led mediation and support for women representatives in peacebuilding processes. ----------------- This video was produced under the Civil Society Network (CSDN) mechanism.
