A Full Day East on I-40 — Amazon Trailer From OKC to Memphis Part 2

Welcome back to the channel! We're LIVE on October 28, 2026 — and we're back on I-40, this time pointed east. We're grabbing an Amazon Prime trailer in Oklahoma City this morning and running it over to Memphis to drop this afternoon. Bodie's riding shotgun. Let's roll! THE RUN: We pick up our Amazon Prime trailer this morning in Oklahoma City and take it east to Memphis, Tennessee, where we'll drop it this afternoon. It's about a 460-mile run — a solid full day of eastbound miles, pulling the loaded trailer from one hub to the next. TODAY'S ROUTE: It's I-40 east, the whole way. Out of Oklahoma City, back across the green hills and lakes of eastern Oklahoma — right past where we were running just yesterday — and into Arkansas through Fort Smith and Little Rock. From there we cross the Arkansas Delta and roll over the mighty Mississippi River into Memphis. Here's the bittersweet part: this route takes us right past our home turf up in Northwest Arkansas. So close to the house... but today we roll on by and keep heading east to get this trailer to Memphis. That's the life out here sometimes — home waves at you through the windshield and you keep on trucking. It's a pretty time of year for this drive, with the late-October fall colors still hanging on across Oklahoma and Arkansas, and that always-impressive crossing of the Mississippi River as we roll into Memphis. A good day of steady miles across the heart of the country. BODIE UPDATE: Our beagle pup Bodie ("Whitehead's Bodacious Bodie") is riding along and supervising as always — he perks up every time we get near home, but he's a good sport about rolling on past.
