Welcome back to the channel! We're LIVE on October 29, 2026 — and this is a graveyard-shift special. We're rolling out at 2:30 in the morning for a quick pre-dawn run from Memphis over to Little Rock. If you're up late, come keep us company in the dark! Bodie's riding shotgun (well... sleeping shotgun). Let's roll! THE RUN: We're picking up an Amazon Prime trailer in Memphis, Tennessee at 2:30 AM and running it west to Little Rock, Arkansas, where we need it dropped by 6:30 AM. It's a short one — only about 135 miles — but it all happens in the dead of night. THE MIDDLE-OF-THE-NIGHT SHIFT: A 2:30 AM start is about as middle-of-the-night as it gets, and it's a side of trucking a lot of people never see. There's a trade-off: you're up at an ungodly hour, but the roads are wide open, the big-city traffic is gone, and there's a real quiet peace to running down an empty interstate in the dark that you just don't get in the daytime. Freight has to move around the clock, and somebody's got to be out here at 2:30 AM to move it. TONIGHT'S ROUTE: We head west out of Memphis on I-40, crossing the Mississippi River out of Tennessee and into Arkansas, then across the flat, straight Arkansas Delta — through West Memphis, Forrest City, and Brinkley — and on into Little Rock to make the drop by 6:30 AM. With any luck, we'll catch the very first hint of dawn breaking as we pull into Little Rock. There's something special about the Mississippi River crossing at night, with the big bridge all lit up over the dark water as you roll out of Memphis. A quiet, peaceful, wide-open run through the night. Settle in and ride along. BODIE UPDATE: Our beagle pup Bodie ("Whitehead's Bodacious Bodie") is riding along and supervising as always — though at 2:30 AM, his supervising mostly looks like snoring in the passenger seat. Thanks to everybody who keeps cheering him on in the chat! If you're a fellow trucker, a dog lover, or just love the open road, hop in and ride along with me and Bodie!
