Hughenden Manor

Hughenden Manor An unexpected trip brought me to visit Hughenden Manor, the home of Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. The home is now run by the National Trust and is a really beautiful place to visit. During the second world war it was used by the allied forces for map making under the code name “Hillside”. The exhibition on the house gives massive detail on how these maps were made. The gardens and the nearby Church are well worth a visit.
