Color Blind-A Noir Short Film by MF

A troubled detective is trapped in a case he hasn’t cracked in nine months. He’s wandered the grim streets of Chicago — and the darker corners of his own mind — searching for a sliver of truth, but finding only smoke and doubt. Each day he pushes forward, the line between his identity and the case blurs. As he chips away at himself, he fears the man staring back in the mirror may no longer be recognizable. Now, he must question everything and trust nothing — not the city, not his relationships, and least of all, his own instincts. Color Blind was a test of what a team and I could create from scratch with nothing, aiming for a film that both explores a personal character arc and stays true to the noir style. I believe we fulfilled both of those goals.
