Lanterns Season 1 Is Cinematic Torture - Series Recap, Rant, and Review

The Lanterns series is finally done, and James Gunn somehow turned Green Lantern into a cornfield therapy drama with glow sticks. Hal Jordan spends the whole season looking like he’s one bad day from selling insurance, John Stewart acts like a malfunctioning Roomba with PTSD, and the “cosmic mystery” feels like True Detective written by someone who’s never seen space… or a comic....or anything Green Lantern in general. If you’re Gunn‑tired or just sick of Hollywood turning DC icons into mopey Midwest dads, this breakdown is your new anthem. I roast every episode, every plot hole, every lore betrayal, and every moment the writers forgot Lanterns are supposed to fight cosmic gods, not argue in a rural town in the middle of freaking nowhere. Buckle up. Bring a drink. Let’s autopsy this disaster. #Lanterns #JamesGunnSucks #LanternsSeason1 #GreenLantern #DCU #DCFail #TheyRuinedIt #WokeHollywood #AntiWoke #CancelLanterns #ComicBookBetrayal #NerdCulture #PopCultureMeltdown #HollywoodIsLost #FranchiseFatigue #NotMyHalJordan #NotMyJohnStewart #DCRebootDisaster #HBOMaxSeries #ComicPurist #RightWingNerds #CultureWarContent #RageWatch #FandomFury #MediaCritique #PopCultureRoast
