The accident occurred around 7:15 AM within the limits of the Dauki police station in Agra. Reports indicate that a Creta car, traveling from Delhi to Ballia, was moving at a speed of approximately 140 km/h. The vehicle lost control, collided with the divider, and overturned multiple times. During the crash, three young men seated in the rear were thrown out of the vehicle; they fell across the expressway's safety fencing into a gorge approximately 60 feet deep. All three lost their lives upon impact with the rocks below. Meanwhile, the driver and another occupant seated in the front were wearing seatbelts. Their lives were saved by the deployment of airbags during the collision, although both sustained injuries. Following the accident, teams from the police, UPEIDA, and the fire brigade arrived at the scene. With the help of villagers, the bodies were retrieved from the gorge and sent for post-mortem examinations, while the injured were taken to Agra for medical treatment. The car was severely damaged in the accident; several parts broke off, and even the wheels detached. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
