I hate sales funnels and being pitched as much as you do. But if you're curious how we help gym owners beyond what you see on this channel, the link above is where we talk about it.
I'm an entrepreneur like you. I hate BS, getting bombarded with emails and "free eBooks" (lol). You won't find any of that here.
Anyway, on with the video...
Hollis Molloy lived the history of CrossFit from the inside.
He arrived at CrossFit Santa Cruz in 2005, became co-owner of the original affiliate, served on the CrossFit Seminar Staff from 2007 to 2025, earned his Level 4 and judged the CrossFit Games for almost ten years.
In this episode, Hollis shares what Nicole Carroll, Greg Glassman and the first coaches taught him, what really makes a member stay, why coaching has to go beyond simply executing the movements, and how metabolic health could become the next evolution of CrossFit.
In this episode:
the origins of CrossFit Santa Cruz
the real lessons of Levels 1 to 4
why a great coach truly knows their members
how to hire for character, not just for skill
why coaches are still underpaid
how to make the value of a gym visible
how CrossFit and MetFix complement each other
the Metabolic Radar and the limits of performance as a measure of health
